Reardon Out For Phoenix

Press Release | January 15, 2010

The following is from MotoConcepts Racing… After careful consideration by both Dan Reardon and MotoConcepts Racing Personnel, it has been decided that rather than rush his return to racing in Phoenix, Dan will use that time to recover and come back strong for Round 3 in Anaheim, CA.Dan Reardon crashed hard while running in 3rd place in the heat race at the opening round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series in Anaheim leaving him with a very sore body and a mild concussion.”I don’t feel 100% and it’s not worth going out there to just ride, I would rather take a few more days to recover and come out to A2 ready to race”, says Dan Reardon. “I understand the seriousness of head injuries and I want to make sure that I’m strong mentally and physically before I line up at that gate.””Obviously we would love to see the #122 out there on the track in Phoenix, but this is a long season and Dan’s health is more important”, explains Team Manager of MotoConcepts Yamaha, Michael Young. “Dan will take a few extra days off and come back swinging at Rd. 3.”
