Rockstar Makita Suzuki team manager Roger DeCoster says that newly signed rider Matt Moss has been released from the hospital and is at home recuperating from the injury he suffered at the final round of the Australasian Supercross Championship in Brisbane, December 5.Moss suffered a compression of the T5 vertebra when he crashed on the last lap while competing in the Lites class.”Everything has been going real good,” DeCoster said. “He went home last Friday and is walking around.”DeCoster said that he doesn’t know for sure exactly how long he’ll be out of action.”I know he’ll miss some rounds (of the 2010 AMA Supercross Series), but I just don’t know how many,” DeCoster said. “I believe he’ll be coming to California fairly soon to see a specialist, but I really don’t have a time frame on anything yet.”When Moss returns, he’ll join Ryan Dungey aboard the RM-Z450 in the Supercross and outdoors series.
