Spec Series For World Supers

The World Superbike Championship will feature a spec-bike class in 2010 and 2011, though the make and model of the bikes set to be used have yet to be announced.Infront Motor Sports, the promoters of the World Superbike Championship, have signed a two-year deal with ParkinGO, a car park network with lots located near the major Italian airports and the sponsor of the Triumph BE1Racing team, that will see the formulation of the ParkinGo World Series.The spec class is slated to run in conjunction with seven rounds of the World Superbike Championship – Valencia, Assen, Monza, Misano, Brno, Donington Park and Nurburgring.Infront has also signed a deal with ParkinGo with the company set to become the official sponsor of the three Italian rounds of the World Superbike Championship for the next two years.”We are delighted to have reached this accord with the Oasi Handling Group,” Paolo Flammini, the CEO of Infront said in a release issued today. “We have had the opportunity to get to know Giuliano Rovelli over the years in his role as owner of the Triumph BE1 Racing team and we are sure that thanks to his dynamism and entrepreneurial skill, he will be able to give the right impulse to guarantee the success of this new trophy.
