Espargaro To Indy

Spanish road racer Aleix Espargaro will fill in for Mika Kallio on the Pramac Racing Team for the next two rounds of the MotoGP World Championship, with the 20-year-old set to make his MotoGP debut at the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix on August 30.Espargaro started the current season in the 250cc class.Kallio has moved to the factory Marlboro Ducati team in the absence of Casey Stoner, who is back in Australia attempting to regain his health.”I am very happy as this season has been very hard for me,” Espargaro said in a team release. “We are beginning a project for next year to be back in the World Championship and this will be a good occasion to get back in touch with with my world. This season I have ridden for a couple of races in the 250cc category in Assen and Sachsenring, concluding in fourth and seventh position, therefore I feel physical ready. It’s like a dream come true to find my self all of a sudden in MotoGP. I want to thanks the Pramac Racing Team that is giving me this opportunity to compete at the top level of motorcycle road racing.”
