Mid-America Motorcycle Speedway in Indianapolis is announcing that the Midwest Speedway Championship and Quad Invitational sponsored by Bloomington Harley-Davidson & Buell will take place at 7:00pm on Friday, August 28th in Indianapolis, IN. The event will feature 16 speedway riders and 12 quads from around the world in what will truly be an international event. Riders from Argentina, Canada, England, Poland, Scotland, and the US have already sent in their letters of intent which guarantee them a spot in the field.
The event takes place during the same weekend as the Indy Mile, and the Indianapolis round of MotoGP. Speedway motorcycle racing is one of the purest forms of motorcycle racing. Featuring lightweight high horsepower methanol powered machines running at over 80 mph with no brakes on a track that is slightly less than a quarter mile fans are guaranteed to see an action packed night.
