Canard Out With Possible Broken Arm

Trey Canard will likely miss an undetermined amount of rounds after suffering an injury at the High Point round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships yesterday at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania.

The GEICO Powersport Honda rider was locked in a grueling battle with series points leader Christophe Pourcel when he went down, falling with both arms outstretched.

It was initially thought that he suffered a broken wrist, however, a call this evening (Sunday) from Trey’s mother, Kerri, revealed that Trey was scheduled for an exam with his doctor in Oklahoma at 8:30 Monday morning, and that a preliminary inspection pointed towards a broken ulna instead of a broken wrist. Canard was just coming off of a broken leg in last year’s outdoor series.
