Bonsey Back to GP’s

Dirt tracker and former 125cc GP racer Stevie Bonsey has agreed to ride an Aprilia RSW250 for the Milar-Juegos Lucky Racing Team in the 250cc World Championship.The Salinas native will make his debut at this weekend’s Catalunya Grand Prix at the Montmelo circuit north of Barcelona.Bonsey raced an Aprilia in last year’s 125cc World Championship, but wasn’t able to catch on with a team this year. His last racing appearance was in the Springfield Mile, where his engine let him down. A day before he finished tenth in the Springfield T.T.The team is also in negotiations with Bonsey’s management to contest the inaugural season of Moto2, the replacement class for 250’s, in 2010.Bonsey’s arrival has brought increased technical support from Aprilia. Aprilia stepped up their technical support with delivery of a new carbon swingarm and cylinders for the Montemelo race.
