Zemke In, Hopper Out For Miller World Superbike

Jake Zemke will be back on the Stiggy Honda CBR1000RR for the Miller Motorsports Park round of the World Superbike Championship on May 31, replacing John Hopkins who is still not ready to race, according to Bob Moore – the agent for both riders.Moore said that Hopkins visited Dr. Arthur Ting today and while his recovery is ahead of schedule, he won’t be ready for the race at Miller in two weeks. Hopkins, however, will be at Miller in support of Zemke.Hopkins is recovering from surgery to correct the dislocated left hip he suffered early in the first practice session for the Dutch round of the championship on April 26.
