Honda France’s Matthieu Lagrive broke his own lap record at the 2.59-mile Bugatti circuit in Le Mans, France, to earn pole position for the 24 Hours of Lem Mans – the opening round of hthe 2009 Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship that gets started tomorrow.The factory Honda team will lead the way ahead of Yamaha France GMT 94, the team led by Sébastien Gimbert in Superpole, and the Honda Michelin Power Research Team – third in Superpole with Hugo Marchand at the helm.Next up was the GSR Kawasaki team, followed by Yamaha Austria, the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team and the Kawasaki Bolliger Switzerland entry.Jason Pridmore’s BK Maco Moto Racing team qualified 12th and failed to make the top-10 cut for Superpole.
