Jean Turner | April 10, 2009

It’s more than just the old Cycle News articles that are fun to look back on. This week, along with race results from the 1979 Phoenix Motocross National which Bob Hannah and Broc Glover dominated, check out Yamaha’s two-page ad celebrating their double victory. More recently, look back ten years ago at the Voices section which features a number of complaints about the Nationals switching to NASCAR-style numbering, and as usual, some colorful opinions from readers on a number of two-wheeled topics of the late 90’s.Click on the page for a zoomed image; click on the text below each page for a super-sized version. We will be taking requests for future Friday Flashbacks, so be sure to voice your opinion in the comments section.
