With the team already without veteran Tim Ferry, the Monster Energy Kawasaki squad now faces this weekend’s round in St. Louis with both of its regular team members on the sidelines as Supercross class rookie Ryan Villopoto has been knocked out of tomorrow night’s round with a viral infection.”Our main goal is to get Ryan better,” team manager Mike Fisher said in a press release. “We want him to recover as soon as possible so he can resume racing.”The team signed Billy Laninovich this week to contest the final six rounds of the series as a replacement for Ferry. Ferry suffered a broken heel at the Daytona Supercross and underwent surgery for the injury on Saturday. He will miss the rest of the series.Missing St. Louis will hamper Villopoto in his quest to finish third in the series championship. After finishing sixth last weekend, he was headed to St. Louis 10 points out of third.
