Mees Out For Daytona

The following is from Jared Mees’ publicist…

National #21 “The Jammer” Jared Mees will be out of the season opener of the AMA Singles Championship in Daytona next week. Jared had some surgery done on his knee back in January. He has been back training and is actually about 4 weeks ahead of schedule in the re-hab process. Jared and his team felt that it would be better to be 110% for the first twins race in Tucson April 5th, than be 99% for the Daytona races.

The decision was a tough one to make, but this shows how determined Mees is to win the Championship this year. So many riders return to quickly after treatment of a injury, we know it’s good, but needs to get just a little stronger. We do not need to risk injury for the first two races of the year, it’s going to be a long season. Jared is on his way to Florida, and will be around both nights to visit with friends and fans at municipal stadium, and looks forward to seeing all of you down there.

Jared Mees Racing would like to thank these great companies for their support!
