Stewart Out of Tonight’s Race at A2

At an impromptu press conference held in the Kawasaki team truck after practice, tonight, James Stewart announced that he has decided to sit out of tonight’s Supercross race at Angel Stadium, and possibly will miss next week’s race in San Francisco.

Stewart admitted that he re-injured the knee that he hurt during last year’s outdoor series in a practice crash on December 20th and that he has been struggling with it ever since.

Stewart stated that he knew that the knee would only get worse if he didn’t give it time to heal and he is 98% sure that he will sit out next week’s race as well.
