| November 5, 2007

DRD/Yamaha rider Doug Dubach dominated this year’s White Brother Vet World Championship Motocross at Glen Helen Raceway, November 3-4. The 44-year-old Dubach led every lap of both motos in both the 30- and 40-Plus Pro classes. He’s the first rider to win both classes in the same weekend. In all, Dubach now has racked up 15 Vet World Championship titles.

On Saturday, in the 40-Plus Pro class, Kawasaki rider Gordon Ward gave Dubach a bit of a race in both motos but came up short both times, going 2-2 for second overall. Third overall went to KTM rider Bader Manneh, who traveled from his home in Italy to compete in the race. Manneh went 3-3, while Honda-mounted Pete DeGraaf finished fourth with a pair of fourth-place finishes. Honda rider Terry Fowler rounded out the top five overall with a 5-5 tally.

Dubach, once again, brought his A-game to Glen Helen on Sunday, winning the 40-Plus class with a 1-1 moto sweep.

Finishing second this time was Honda rider Craig Decker who went 2-3, while Ward got on the podium a second time with a third-place finishing, going 5-2. Honda rider Cameron Taylor (3-4) and Kawasaki rider Joe Oehlhof (4-5) filled out the top five overall.
