Confirmed Riders for Maxxis EnduroCross Qualifier

On Friday, November 16, the AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross Series will play host to the top off-road racers in the world who will be battling for ten spots that transfer to the Saturday night evening show the following day.

With 200 entries signed up for round three of the series, the ten transfer spots become valuable positions, especially when you consider there is a $20,000 purse on the line for Saturday night. The 200 entry rider list consist of a mix of top amateurs as well as local and regional champions. Below lists some of the more notable riders that are in the hunt for those ten spots.

Destry Abbott – Four time AMA National Hare & Hound Champion Micky Dymond – Two-time 125cc AMA Motocross Champion Bobby Garrison – Recent winner of WORCS PismoBeach Race Barry Hawk – 2003 GNCC Bike Champion, 7-time GNCC ATV Champion Kyle Lewis – Multi-time Japanese National Supercross Champion Joe Kopp – 2007 National Number 3 – AMA/Grand National Championship Russ Pearson – Two-time AMA National Hare & Hound Champion Bobby Prochnau – 2006 Canadian Off-Road Champion Justin Williamson – 2007 GNCC XC2 Lites Champion

In addition to the list of accomplished riders above, “Lil'” Donnie Emler, Director of Marketing for FMF Racing, will also be taking on the EnduroCross track for his first time. Lil’ D will be racing in both the Expert and 4-stroke classes. The Friday Qualifiers, as are the Maxxis EnduroCross pits, are open free to the public providing a great opportunity to meet your favorite off-road heroes face to face.
