2008 AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Schedule Announced

Jean Turner | November 20, 2007

This week’s issue of Cycle News includes the 2008 schedule for the AMA/Maxxis National EnduroCross Series, but left the fifth round “TBA,” noting that it would either be in New York or Ohio. A release from Pro-Motion Motorsports just announced the official schedule for 2008, with Dayton, Ohio listed as the host city for round five of the series.

EnduroCross promoters were careful to avoid conflicting with WORCS in 2008, so racers such as Destry Abbott, Ricky Dietrich, Justin Soule, Nathan Woods and Nick Brozovich can easily contest both. Three of the six rounds do, however, share weekends with the largest off-road series in the U.S., the Can-Am GNCC. Although Knight still plans to contest some rounds, a recent release stated that Mike Lafferty will be KTM’s premier rider in the 2008 EnduroCross series.

The 2008 EnduroCross series will kick off in Las Vegas on Fourth of July weekend at the Orleans Arena, the same location as the season finale on November 15th. For more info, visit www.EnduroCross.com.
