Cycle News Staff | July 12, 2007

The following is from Kawasaki…Team Muzzy Kawasaki Trim-Tex will take their first run at the Pro Stock class in the NHRA series this weekend at Brandimere Speedway in Denver, Colo. The Kawasaki team features former AMA Prostar Series multi-champion Ryan Schnitz aboard the all-new Kawasaki ZX™-14. The number seven bike will make its first appearance since the NHRA made certain rule changes to the Pro Stock class for 2007. “We are happy to finally have the bike out on the track,” said Team Manager Rob Muzzy. “I don’t have any expectations this round. This is more of a “shake-down test” for us.” He added, “Since there is a serious and extensive tech on the bike at the first round of racing, we decided to get it all done here and see how we can move forward. The bike is done, but I think that getting out on the track will help us better prepare for the next round in Sonoma.” Qualifying for the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals will be on Friday and the eliminations will follow on Saturday.
