Caselli Hot In Idaho

| June 4, 2007

KTM’s Kurt Caselli was in a class all his own at the Idaho City ISDE Qualifier, June 2-3. Caselli easily topped both days en route to the overall win.

Ron Schmelzle finished second overall, while David Kamo finished third, giving KTM the top three overall positions.

Beta rider Jordan Brandt and KTM-mounted Jason Dahners rounded out the top five overall.

Honda rider Annell Allen topped the Women’s class.

This year’s Idaho Qualifier was a tough one, as both heat and dust took its toll on the competitors that were faced with riding about 115 miles per day.

The Idaho Qualifier was also the final round of the ISDE Qualifier series and the AMA will, in the next week or so, make the final selection of the approximately 40 riders that will represent the United States at this year’s ISDE in Chile, November 12-17.
