Can-Am GNCC Series Announces 2007 Television Schedule

Press Release | February 12, 2007

The following is a release from GNCC PR:

Morgantown, WV – The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series returns to television sets around the country this spring with weekly shows on Versus (formerly Outdoor Life Network) beginning April 14th. Half-hour shows will air every Saturday at 3 p.m. EST and re-air each Thursday at 4 p.m. EST, with several bonus episodes airing at various time slots throughout the season.

“TV has been a big part of this series since the days of the Blackwater 100 videos,” says GNCC trail boss Jeff Russell. “We think the current TV shows offer a good balance of fun and drama, and we’ll do even more this year. We want to capture the soul of the series, and sometimes that’s more than just the pro classes.”

This year’s shows will track the top GNCC racing stars in the XC1 Pro classes on bikes and ATVs, in addition to the new XC2 Lites classes. Throughout the season, packages will highlight amateur classes such as Women, 4×4 and Youth classes.

The shows will once again be produced by Gear Media and Marketing Inc. in association with Racer Productions, the GNCC series producer.

The 2007 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series begins with the Parts Unlimited Triton GNCC in Vero Beach, Florida, on March 3-6.
