Jenks Clinches National Hare Scrambles Championship

KTM’s Robbie Jenks clinched the 2006 AMA National Hare Scrambles Championship after finishing third at the Black Coal National HS in Lynnville, Indiana, October 1.

On the day, Am-Pro Yamaha’s Charlie Mullins captured the overall win. The Yamaha pilot took the lead on the second lap and went on to finish the race a little over two minutes ahead of Team Suzuki Off-Road’s Glenn Kearney.

Jenks put his KTM into third on the second lap and took the checkered flag just 12 seconds behind Kearney. Fourth overall went to Kawasaki rider Travis Green who led after the first lap.

Rounding out the top five overall was KTM rider Marty Michaels of Kentucky, who topped the 251-Open A class.
