Ryan Hughes Injured at Washougal

Team Suzuki Off-Road’s Ryan Hughes suffered a broken arm while practicing for tomorrow’s WORCS race at Washougal MX Park in Washington. Hughes was competing in the Unclassified class this morning when he crashed in the whoop section of the MX track and broke his upper arm. He will not compete tomorrow and when he will return is uncertain. Even though he will miss tomorrow’s race, Hughes will still maintain his series lead after the Washougal race.

KTM’s Kellon Walch also suffered injuries in the same section of track. Walch reportedly broke several bones in one ankle and broke at least one bone in the other. Walch actually didn’t crash but landed wrong in the whoops; he also struck his forehead on the handlebars.
