KTM Sweeps Perry Mt. 24-Hour Challenge

KTM swept the top three overall positions at the fifth running of the KTM/Perry Mt. 24-Hour Challenge at Reynolds Pasture in Maplesville, Alabama, June 3-4. Team KTM/Southeast took the overall win and the $2500 purse that came with it after completing 46 laps. The team was made up of Robbie Jenks, Dustin Gibson, Allen Gravitt, Michael Grizzle, Tommy Veator and Jason Chancey, and they rode a KTM 400 EXC.

Second overall went to Graham KTM, followed by KTM/Spanner Wrench. Team Action Kawasaki/Yamaha finished fourth, while the TJS KTM team rounded out the top five.

KTM rider Elmer Symons was the top overall finisher in the Ironman division after racking up 36 laps. Finishing second was another KTM rider Mike Phillips, who logged 30 laps.

The top Ironwoman-class rider was Casey Campbell with nine laps completed. Sixty-six teams, including Ironman- and Ironwoman class riders, started the race.
