David Pearson Wins Idaho City Two-Day

KTM-mounted David Pearson (with Gunny Claypoole) and Kawasaki Team Green’s Destry Abbott battled all weekend at the Idaho City ISDE 2-Day Qualifier in Idaho City, Idaho, June 3-4, and it was Pearson squeaking out the overall win. After two days, Pearson edged Abbott by 15 seconds for the overall win. Had a test not been thrown on day one, only one second would have separated the two riders. This was Pearson’s third win at the Idaho Two-Day.
Finishing 12 seconds off the pace in third was Abbott’s teammate Ricky Dietrich, while KTM’s Kellon Walch and Kawasaki’s Nathan Woods rounded out the top five overall.
