Practice has just concluded at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, at round 11 of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series, and it was James Stewart setting the fastest time in practice with a 54.892-second lap on the rough and sandy course. Makita Suzuki’s Ricky Carmichael was second fastest with a 55.625, while Stewart’s factory Kawasaki teammate Micheal Byrne was third fastest with a 57.490.

As he had done at Daytona, Team Yamaha’s Chad Reed elected to sit out the second practice session to rest his injured shoulder, after riding a conservative first session. Kevin Windham, who is making his return to racing after missing the last three months with a broken left forearm, set the eighth fastest time among the 450s in practice with a 58.548.

In the Lites division, Sobe/Samsung/Mobile/Honda’s Josh Grant led the way with a 57.577, followed by Team Honda’s Davi Millsaps (58.116) and Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Gosselaar (58.348).
