Ricky Dietrich gave Kawasaki’s KX450F its first National off-road win when the Team Green rider topped the opening round of the AMA National Hare Scrambles Series in Mammoth, Arizona, last weekend.

Finishing second overall was KTM’s Robbie Jenks, while Yamaha rider Nathan Kanney, Kawasaki pilot Travis Green and KTM-mounted Jordan Brandt rounded out the top five.

Brian Garrahan, who finished third in the series last year, broke his leg in three places and will be sidelined indefinitely, which means he’ll miss the next round at Hollister, California, (his home race) in two weeks.
