Nico Izzi, Jimmy Albertson and Ryan Villopoto (pictured) were the big winners at the 30th Annual Ponca City Grand National Championships, held at Jack Blevins Motocross Park in Ponca City, Oklahoma, July 24-30.

The Suzuki/PR2/Dunlop/Maxima/ Fox Shocks-sponsored Izzi made his Oklahoma visit a memorable one by going undefeated through all 10 of his motos, en route to titles in the 85cc Stock (14-16), 85cc Modified (14-16), 85cc Open Modified and Super Mini (0-16) divisions. The Yamaha-mounted Albertson, of Billings, Missouri, demonstrated that he is one of the fastest Intermediate riders on the planet by claiming wins in the 125cc Stock Intermediate, 250cc Four-Stroke Non-Pro, 125cc Modified Intermediate and 450cc Non-Pro classes. And Villopoto, who will turn pro after the Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross Nationals next week, added three titles to his resume: 125cc Modified Pro, 125cc Stock Pro and 250cc Stock Pro.

In the smaller classes, six-year-old Rookie White, of Winchester, California, won the Pee Wee 50 Stock (0-6) Championship, while Arizona’s Mark Worth claimed Pee Wee 50 Modified (0-6) division title.

Joey Dunlop of Dallas, Texas, and Zach Cummins of Westlake Village, California, butted heads in the Pee Wee Stock (7-8) class with Dunlop claiming the title when Cummins suffered a poor start.

Levi Hall put his KTM on top of the box in the Junior Cycle Modified (9-11) class after moving up from third place on the first lap of the runoff to pass Justin Summers of Florida for the win.

The Ponca City event, one of the longest-running amateur National Championship series in the country, celebrated its 30th anniversary with perfect conditions and some of the best racing ever at the facility. Over 2300 entries graced the starting grids for the five-day event.
