No Stewart For Washougal

The following release is from Kawasaki…

After additional evaluations this week, it has been decided that Team Kawasaki rider James Stewart will not be competing in the AMA Motocross event in Washougal, Wash., this weekend. Stewart, who struck his head on the ground during a crash in the first 250 moto at Unadilla, has not received approval from his physician to return to competition.

“I am really bummed that I have not been able to race since the Unadilla crash,” said Stewart. “I am sorry to disappoint the fans, Kawasaki, and my sponsors. There’s a week off after Washougal so I should be 100% by Spring Creek and look forward to a strong ride there.”
