Cancelled AMA Hillclimb Back On

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (June 2, 2005) — AMA Pro Racing announced today that round five of the AMA Hillclimb Championship Presented by Pace American cancelled on May 11 has been placed back on the schedule.

The June 26 event at Nashville, Ind., will now be held as originally scheduled.

AMA Pro Racing Technical Director Rob King said that an agreement was reached by a new promoter and the landowner where the hill is located. “This is great news for all the competitors campaigning the 2005 AMA Hillclimb Championship,” said King. “We’re glad that TRS Productions and the land owner were able to reach an agreement that enabled us to put this event back on the schedule.”

The 2005 AMA Hillclimb Championship Presented by Pace American, is as follows:

June 12, Bushkill Valley MC, Steel City, PA, 1 pm

June 19, West Virginia Offroad Park, Danville, WV, 1 pm

June 26, TRS Productions, Nashville, IN, 1 pm

July 31, White Rose MC, Jefferson (York Co.), PA, 1 pm – (ALL STAR CHALLENGE)

Aug. 14, Muskegon MC, Bridgeton, MI, 1 pm

Aug. 21, Poags Hole Productions, Dansville, NY, 1 pm

Sept. 11, Bushkill Valley MC, Steel City, PA, 1 pm

Sept. 25, White Rose MC, Jefferson (York Co.), PA, 1 pm
