| January 26, 2005
The following is press release from Team Motorcyclist’s Post racing team, which contests the AMA Flat Track Championship:

Team Motorcyclist’s Post is proud to announce that Logan Myers has signed a two-year deal which will see the 18-year-old Michigan native racing under the New England Team’s banner.

Myers had achieved multiple AMA amateur flat track championship title and was also awarded the AMA Dirt Track Horizon Award in 2002 before turning pro in 2003. In his first year as a pro, he won the 2003 AMA Hotshoe Series, and in 2004 he contested several singles-class rounds of the AMA Flat Track Championship. The Motorcyclist’s Post Ride will allow him to compete on the circuit fulltime, in both singles and twins events. Motorcyclist’s Post team owner Leo Castell said the Myers was just the kind of rider the team has been seeking out for its 2005 campaign.

“Logan has convinced us of his commitment to this sport, clean living, hard work, and his desire to be the best he can be,” Castell said. “As soon as we finalized this deal, Logan traveled with the team to do some pre-season testing on a half mile. We think Logan he will be the perfect fit with our team and renowned tuner Garry Baehler, and we look forward to the season opener at Daytona.”
