$1000 Bounty on Garrahan

Kit Palmer | January 3, 2005

Not only will the THQ AMA Supercross Series get underway next weekend, January 8, but so will the first major off-road race of the season. On Sunday, January 9, the opening round of the AMA National Hare Scrambles Series kicks off in Hollister, California, and once again a bounty will be hanging over the head of five-time Hollister winner Brian Garrahan. Whoever wins the race other than Garrahan will take home an extra check worth $1000.

Garrahan, the man with the target on his back, will also be sporting new colors at the Hollister race. The long-time KTM-backed rider will compete aboard a NorCal Motorsports/1-888-Trykona/Maxxis/Moose Suzuki RM250.
