Russ Pearson Wins Berthoud WORCS

Montclair Yamaha’s Russ Pearson got his first-ever win in the World Off-Road Championship Series yesterday in Berthoud, Colorado. Pearson led much of the race and held on to take the victory ahead of KTM’s Kurt Caselli and series points leader Nathan Woods. Local motocrosser Matt Karlsen finished fourth, while Kawasaki Team Green’s Destry Abbott rounded out the top five overall.

Defending champ Ty Davis finished seventh, while Kawasaki Team Green’s Bobby Bonds ran out of gas while running among the leaders. Bonds was credited with 16th place. Results:
