Surfercross Finished Up Yesterday

| August 5, 2004

It was a great day to be at the beach yesterday as the second day of the sixth annual Fox Surfercross wrapped up. The event began overcast, but as the day progressed the clouds moved away and allowed the sun to shine down and warm things up a bit. After the surfers had to survive the motocross track the day before, it was time for the motocrossers to show their skills on the water. And the surfers couldn’t have been happier to be back in familiar territory.

In the Pro-class taking the overall win for both days was the team of Josh Hansen and Scott Farnsworth. In second was Buddy Antunez and Adam Wickwire and in third was the team of Ryan Dudek and Troy Ekert. In the industry class Yamaha’s Terry Beal and his teammate Malcolm McCassy took the win ahead of the second place team of Mike Bell and Greg Lasiewski.

When all was said on done it was a great few days of fun and everyone is already looking forward to next years event.
