Ty Davis Discusses ’04 Plans

Kit Palmer | December 22, 2003

WORCS Champion Ty Davis has pretty much finalized his team’s plans for the 2004 off-road season. Davis has put together a three-man team that will concentrate on the upcoming 13-round World Off-Road Championship Series and the D-37 Big 6 GP Series. The team will be made up of up-and-comer Ryan McIntyre, former motocrosser Nathan Woods and Davis, and will operate under the Montclair Yamaha/Zip-Ty Racing banner.

McIntyre will spend most of his time on the Yamaha YZ125 and 250F, while both Davis and Woods will ride both the YZ250 and 450F through out the year. Not only will the team focus on the WORCS series, but they’ll also ride many selected off-road events in 2004.

Davis will also help support Vet racer Andy Jefferson in the WORCS series.

The team has also signed Yoshimura to help do their motor work on the four-strokes, while Flow will continue to handle much of their two-stroke tuning.
