Despite heavy rain the night before the finals, the 28th annual Ponca City NMA Grand National Motocross Championships came to a successful end Saturday, August 2, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and there were some new and not-so-new names at the top of the leaderboard.

Some of the big class winners, included Mike and Jeff Alessi (Hon), Zach Osborne (KTM), Ian Trettle (Suz), Cody Robbins (KTM), Derek Costalla (Suz), Daton Beavers (Suz), Josh Lichtle (Suz), Terren O’Dell (Kaw) and Zach Osborne (KTM).

Many of these riders are currently en route to the Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National MX Championships in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, which gets underway this week.
