AMA, Cycle News Announce Fast Brain ’03

Press Release | June 13, 2003
It’s great to be fast, but only a handful of individuals in any sport ever achieve financial security as an athlete.

That’s one reason that a solid education is so important for any young person, and also the reason that Cycle News has established the Cycle News Fast Brain Award in 2000. The Cycle News Fast Brain Award is presented each year at the AMA Progressive Insurance Dirt Track Grand Championships to a scholar/athlete based on their academic record as well as their race performance.

To be eligible for the 2003 Cycle News Fast Brain Award, you must apply in writing no later than June 27 and include the following information:

1) Your name
2) Your full mail and email addresses & phone number
3) Classes you will ride in Springfield
4) Your grade point average, verified with an official report card or transcript.

Mail or fax your application to:
