Rodney Smith scored the overall win at the final round of the Grand National Cross Country Series in Crawfordsville, Indiana, yesterday. And with the win, the Team Suzuki rider wrapped up the 2002 GNCC title in what was a very exciting year of GNCC racing. Kawasaki’s Fred Andrews and KTM’s Mike Lafferty finished 2-3 in Indiana and, unofficially, 2-3 in the series.

Off-Road World Champion, Great Britain’s David Knight, on a Yamaha, finished fourth overall ahead of Kawasaki’s Chuck Woodford, Honda rider Doug Blackwell and Yamaha-mounted Josh McLevy. Suzuki’s Mike Kiedrowski finished eighth.
