Russell Pearson Wins National H&H Finale

Yamaha YZ450F riders Russell Pearson and Ty Davis finished 1-2 at the final round of the AMA National Championship Hare & Hound Series in Lucerne Valley, California, yesterday. Davis officially wrapped up the 2002 title, topping Pearson by nine points.
Finishing third and fourth overall at Lucerne were a pair of Kawasaki KX500 riders Chuck Woodford and former H&H champ Destry Abbott. Honda XR650R rider Andy Grider rounded out the top five overall.
