Davis Wins Utah National Hare & Hound

Montclair Yamaha’s Ty Davis, riding the YZ426F thumper, scored a wire-to-wire victory at the AMA National Hare & Hound in Springville, Utah, April 13. Russell Pearson, on a Yamaha, finished second, followed by Kawasaki’s Brian Brown, Destry Abbott and David Pearson.
Following the race, Davis was protested by Abbott and Brown, for taking an illegal line off the start of the race, but after further review by the club, Davis was found not guilty, and the results stand.
