Australian Shane Watts will race the famous Le Touquet beach race in France on February 24. The Aussie, who begins his American assault with the opening round of the National Championship Hare Scrambles Series on February 10, will also do the Daytona Supercross again in 2002, just as he did in 2001.
“I arrive in America on February 8,” Watts said recently. “I then do the Hollister round of the Hare Scrambles, followed by the opening round of the WORCS series on February 17, before going to France for the Le Touquet on February 24. When I get back to America again, I will race the first two rounds of the GNCC and the Daytona Supercross.”
Sounds like the Aussie is not backing off on his always-busy schedule.
