Fredette Tops in Wisconsin
| September 10, 2001
Off-road legend Jeff Fredette piloted his Kawasaki to the overall win in round five of the Parts Unlimited Championship Off-Road Series in Neilsville, Wisconsin, September 9. Eight-time National Enduro Champion Dick Burleson, riding a KTM, took second.
The two veterans put their off-road experience to good use after over four inches of rain prior to the race left the course a muddy mess.
Finishing third was Yamaha rider Adam McKillip, followed by Husqvarna-mounted Craig Holasek and KTM rider Kyle Nelson.
With just one round left in the series, Fredette leads Joey Ambersini by six points, 93-87.
