Honda Red Bull's Andrew Short will be sidelined for the next six weeks following his crash late in the main event at the San Deigo Supercross last Saturday night. Short fell over a jump and was later taken to the hospital for X-rays, which showed an injury to his lower leg.Honda issued a press release, but did not reveal any details about the injury. Short was fourth in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series points standings going into the San Diego race. He now joins an injured list that includes James Stewart, Chad Reed and Josh Grant.The following is the press release from Honda:American Honda announced today that Honda Red Bull Racing's Andrew Short underwent further medical examinations as a result of his crash at the San Diego Supercross over the weekend. Short has sustained a lower leg injury, which is expected to sideline him for approximately six weeks. Short will, however, still be in attendance at Angel Stadium to meet fans, sign autographs and participate in all Honda Red Bull Racing PR activities this weekend at Anaheim 3.
