LOS ANGELES, CA, JAN. 21 - Even though the skies are blue and the forecast is clear, the rain schedule released earlier in the day for the Dodger Stadium Supercross will remain in place with the first practice set to get started at 3:45. Riders are currently doing their track walk.

The rain schedule, however, doesn't change the evening program with opening ceremonies set to begin as always at 7 p.m.

Tonight's race will mark the second race at Dodger Stadium with Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto winning last year's inaugural Supercross race here; Troy Lee Design's Cole Seely won the Lites final. Although the Dodger Stadium event is new, Supercross racing in California goes back to the very beginning. Tonight's race will mark the 127th time a Supercross gate will drop in the state, according to Feld Motorsports' press notes.
