LAS VEGAS, NV, MAY 5 - It's unfolding just as predicted with West Lites Champion Eli Tomac winning his main event tonight in Sam Boyd Stadium to set-up the showdown with East Lites Champion Justin Barcia, the winner of the East Lites final earlier tonight. The pair will go head to head in the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout later tonight.

Tomac and his GEICO Honda easily beat Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Dean Wilson by 9.7 seconds after leading each and every lap of the final.

"Got off to a great holeshot and after that I just put a big sprint on," Tomac said.

Third place went to Tomac's teammate Will Hahn, the Texan celebrating his first podium finish of an injury riddled season.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki's Martin Davalos ended up fourth, clear of his teammate Jason Anderson. Red Bull KTM's Marvin Musquin recovered from an off-track excursion after a run-in with Anderson to finish sixth.

Ryan Sipes had the comeback ride of the year, the Star Valli Yamaha rider last on the first lap after coming together with Wilson on the opening lap. Sipes rode hard to finish seventh.

Matt Moss, Scott Champion and Landen Powell rounded out the top 10 finishers.

With his fifth win of the season, Tomac ends the season with 184 points - 30 more than Wilson's 154. Musquin ends the series in third with 142 points.
